My Reasons for Believing We are in the End Time

2. Nuclear, chemical & biological weapons exist to contaminate areas for 40 years -- Ez. 29:11 & Rev. 8:10-11.
- 3. Israel has become a "Garden of Eden" -- Ez. 36:32-35.
- a. Through irrigation Israel gets three crops a year. 'Plowers will overtake reapers' -- Amos 9:13.
b. Trees in great abundance; cedar, acacia, myrtle, oil, cypress, pine, fir, box trees -- Isa. 41:19-20.4. Rosh (Russia ??), Persia (Iran), Ethiopia and Libya are allies and appear to be ready to take up arms against Israel -- Ez. 38:5 & 8.
5. We are in the last world empire, i.e., the revived Roman Empire, (feet of iron and clay) before the Stone (Jesus) grinds up the world empires -- Dan. 2:27-45.
- 6. Israel is planning for
- a. re-establishing animal sacrifices -- Dan. 9:27,
b. and rebuilding the temple -- Amos 9:11.7. Knowledge has increased (1 calculation/sec in 1940 to 1 billion calculations/sec in 1992) -- Dan. 12:4.
8. Many run to and fro (travel has increased from 40 mph in 1900 to 18,000 mph in 1992) -- Dan. 12:4.
9. All nations (including the US) rising up against Israel -- Zech. 12:3 & 14:2.
- 10. Events "prior to the end", in Matthew 24, have been fulfilled --
- a. wars and rumors of wars,
b. nation against nation,
c. kingdom against kingdom,
d. increase in famines, pestilences (such as, AIDS), and earthquakes in various places,
e. many false christs and false prophets deceiving many,
f. gospel preached in all the world, particularly via geosynchronous satellites.
11. This generation has seen the fig tree (Israel) bud (become a nation) -- Matt. 24:32-35.- a. Israel reborn in a day (May 15, 1948) -- Isa. 66:8,
b. Israel shall be many days without a king, prince, or sacrifice & afterward they shall return - Hos. 3:4-5.12. "Days of Noah" are being repeated (much sexual immorality and lawlessness) -- Matt. 24:37-39.
13. Apostasy (great falling away) in society with New Age philosophy and in the churches with humanism -- 2 Thess. 2:3.
14. Approaching a cashless society -- Rev. 13:17.
15. Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts -- II Pet. 3:3.
- 16. About time for another cosmic event assuming approximate equal intervals in God's plan --
- a. 1656 years between creation and flood;
b. 2348 years between flood and Christ's first coming (death and resurrection);
c. 1959 years between Christ's death and resurrection and now.17. "Six days of man" (6000 years) are about completed; the "Sabbath day" or "Lord's Day" is about here.
18. Fulfillment of prophecy for the last three of the seven Jewish Feast days, i.e., Rosh Hashanah, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles. If these Feast have a prophetic event associated with them there must be some people who would benefit from the prophecy. Is it the people who live during the seventh millennial period?
